From Forest Trails to Alpine Summits
Sirimon Gate & Montane Forest: Begin your ascent through lush forest alive with birdlife and wildlife.
Old Moses Camp: A highland campsite with sweeping views, marking your first night on the mountain.
Moorlands & Shipton’s Camp: Hike through unique alpine vegetation and valleys to your base before the summit push.
Point Lenana: At 4,985m, the third-highest peak of Mt Kenya and the ultimate goal of your trek.

Day 1: Nairobi – Old Moses Camp (3,300m)
Depart Nairobi for Nanyuki, then proceed to Sirimon Gate. Trek 3–4 hours through the forest to Old Moses Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Old Moses Camp – Shipton’s Camp (4,200m)
Full-day trek (6–7 hours) through moorlands to Shipton’s Camp, surrounded by rugged peaks and alpine plants. Overnight at camp.
Day 3: Shipton’s Camp – Point Lenana (4,985m) – Old Moses Camp
Early morning summit attempt to Point Lenana for sunrise views. Descend to Shipton’s for breakfast, then continue down to Old Moses Camp.
Day 4: Old Moses Camp – Nairobi
Trek down to Sirimon Gate, then return to Nairobi or onward destination.
