Start from Arusha, head to Tarangire for elephant spectacles and baobabs, descend into the dramatic Ngorongoro Crater, and finish with the avian spectacle and wildlife diversity of Lake Manyara. Arusha: Your safari begins in the vibrant hub of Arusha, where your private guide will welcome you and prepare you for the journey ahead.
Tarangire National Park: Renowned for its towering baobab trees and abundant elephant populations, offering stunning seasonal marshlands and a diverse array of wildlife, including giraffes, lions, and antelopes.
Ngorongoro Crater: This UNESCO-listed caldera is an extraordinary wildlife sanctuary, home to dense populations of species, including the rare black rhino, set within dramatic volcanic terrain.
Lake Manyara National Park: Lush and vibrant, Manyara features flamingos, abundant birdlife including pelicans, herons, and storks, tree-climbing lions, and also grazers like elephants, zebras, and antelopes along its shores.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Meet at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Dinner and overnight in comfort.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire (~2.5 hr drive). Spend the day game driving among baobabs, elephants, rare antelopes, and large birdlife. Picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight near Tarangire.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Morning drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at the crater viewpoint, then descend into the crater for a game drive. Picnic lunch. Late afternoon ascend and overnight in Karatu area lodge.

Day 4: Lake Manyara -Arusha / Departure
Morning departure to Lake Manyara for wildlife and birding. Picnic lunch. Scenic evening drive back to Arusha. Optionally, drop off at the airport or hotel.

When To Go & What To Expect
Best Time to Visit:
- June – October: Offers ideal conditions for excellent wildlife visibility and game viewing, especially in Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Lake Manyara is particularly vibrant in birdlife during wetter periods but still rewarding in these dry months.
