Madikwe Game Reserve (South Africa): Enjoy morning and afternoon Big Five game drives in one of South Africa’s premier malaria-free reserves.
Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe): Explore the mighty Victoria Falls on a guided tour, with optional helicopter flights and sunset cruises on the Zambezi River.
Hwange National Park (Zimbabwe): Discover Zimbabwe’s largest national park with an afternoon safari spotting elephants, lions, and other wildlife.

Day 1 – Pretoria (South Africa)
Board Rovos Rail at Rovos Station in Pretoria. Welcome drinks as your luxury journey begins northwards. Overnight onboard.
Day 2 – Madikwe Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives in Madikwe Reserve with excellent Big Five viewing. Overnight in the lodge, then return to the train.
Day 3 – Botswana Crossing
Travel by rail through Botswana’s scenic countryside. Relax with onboard dining and wine service. Overnight onboard.
Day 4 – Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
Arrive at Victoria Falls. Guided tour of the Falls, optional helicopter flight, and sunset cruise. Overnight at a luxury hotel at Victoria Falls.
Day 5 – Victoria Falls → Hwange
Depart Victoria Falls. Afternoon game drive in Hwange National Park. Overnight onboard Rovos Rail.
Day 6 – Lusaka (Zambia)
Cross into Zambia, continuing the journey northwards with onboard leisure and dining.
Day 7 – Zambia Countryside
The train traverses central Zambia. Onboard lectures, wine service, and fine dining.
Day 8–9 – Kapiri Mposhi → Tanzania Border
Pass Kapiri Mposhi and cross into Tanzania. Overnight onboard.
Day 10–12 – Rift Valley & Selous Game Reserve (Tanzania)

Day 13–14 – Through Tanzania
Continue through rolling Tanzanian landscapes toward Dar es Salaam. Onboard wine tasting and farewell gala dinner. Overnight onboard.
Day 15 – Dar es Salaam
Arrive at Rovos Rail Station in Dar es Salaam. Private transfer to the hotel or the airport. End of journey.
